1. Our multi rib panel slows and disperses the water as it nears the gutter.
2. Like water running down the side of a glass, rainwater bonds to the surface of the panel, flowing down and around the curved nose into the gutter.
3. The LEAF OFF curved nose forward design, with no vertical openings, allows water to enter the gutter. While leaves, pine needles and seeds are directed to the ground.
4. Our patented sturdy-clip securely locks LEAF OFF to the top of the gutter. Secure enough to withstand winds up to 90 MPH.
5. A continuous 3/8" open water channel will handle the heaviest downpours while keeping out birds, nests and debris.

LeafOut relies on the theory of water tension and the adhesive quality of water. Simply put, water molecules are attracted to a surface and will follow the shape of that surface to a great degree in defiance of the forces of gravity. THis means that water will follow the "S" design of LeafOut, but debris cannot and will not.

Following these principles of physics, rainwater cling to and follows the surface of LeafOut where the water is captured into the gutter.

Since there are no vertical opening on the LeafOut System, the leaves and debris blow straight off.

The openings are big enough for water to flow in, but small enough to keep birds and squirrels away from your gutteres. Unlike vinyl systems, animals can not chew their way into your gutters.
